Spanish Open 2013: Results of Day 3

The beginning of this third day of competition began with the 1/4 of U-21 and the 1/8 of Men and Women single.

Men's Single:
What a surprise! Marc Duran have released the seeded number one, He Zhiwen, he beat Zhiwen 4-2 and he's quelified for 1/4 like he victory of Andre Silva against Jon Persson. Cazuo Matsumoto and Assar Khalid beat's Abdel-Kader Salifou and Enzo Angles 4-2.

Thomas Le Breton produced a huge performance by beating 4-0 the number 87 world Carlos Machado! And another Frenchman who has already done big games beating Jean-Michel Saive... Alexandre Robinot just beat number 157 Wong Chun Ting 4-2, a superb competition for him who gains access to 17 years, with the 1/4 finals! Christophe Legout beat the brother of Alexandre Robinot, Quentin Robinot 4-3 and Hampus Nordberg is also qualified.

Women's Single:
In 1/8, Shen Yanfei easily imposed against Maria Xiao and same goes for the second match of day for Lee Ho Ching on Kathrin Mühlbach.
Dana Cechova have beaten Czeck Republic Hana Matelova in seven sets! And a better match of Gania Dvorak against Danish Mie Skov in 14-12 also in the seven game after two launched of racket by Skov! Laura Gasnier has made a very good game but it not enough to go back to 3 sets all being led 3-0, defeated 4-2 against Zhu Fang.
The seeded number two, Jiang Huajun has left a small set to Italian Debora Vivarelli. the Swedish seeded number three, Matidla Ekholm wins 4-3 against the Romanian Iulia Necula and qualified for the 1/4 NG Wing Ham against Caroline Kumahara 4-1.

Juniors Boys:
Romain Lorentz French and Swedish Hampus Söderlund are played for the second in two days, the first time: it's the Swedish who won 4-2 and there: Romain Lorentz led 3-1 and win 11-7 in the decisive game, Enzo Angles took the better of teammate Stephane Ouaiche and like result for Benjamin Brossier against Mehdi Bouloussa. And Belgian Julien Indeherberg win Thomas Le Breton 4-2. The semi-finals will be: Romain Lorentz - Julien Indeherberg

Juniors Girls:
Lee Ho Ching and NG Wing Nam, top-seeded have beaten Alena Lemmer and Nina Mittelham 4-0 and they qualified for the semi-final.
The Russian Yana Noskova has released Kathrin Muhlbach in five games and Brasilian Caroline Kumahara has made a little fright in being led 2-1 and 7-5 in the last set, so it also qualifies and will play in the semi-finals against NG Wing Ham this afternoon, the other match will be Lee Ho Ching against Yana Noskova.
